Jamie Brisick has written two books: We Approach Our Martinis With Such High Expectations (Consafos Press, 2002) and Have Board, Will Travel: The Definitive History of Surf, Skate, and Snow (HarperCollins, 2004). His stories have appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Details, and New York. He is presently writing a memoir about his former life as an emotionally crippled professional surfer. He lives in New York City with his wife and 5’10” Channel Islands Pod.
